Course Curriculum

Vertical Lifelines & Fall Protection: Proper deployment, inspection, and utilization of secondary fall-arrest lifelines and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Hoist Features & Troubleshooting: Identifying mechanical functions, understanding limit switches, and resolving common operational or power issues safely.
Emergency & Self-Rescue Protocols: Step-by-step procedures for managing system failures, power loss, and executing safe, prompt self-rescue.
Pre-Operation Inspection Requirements: Conducting meticulous equipment integrity assessments and structural checks before every shift.
Certification & Completion Requirements
Criteria Details Evaluation Method A comprehensive practical assessment followed by a theory-based multiple-choice exam. Language Requirement A strong command of the English language is required for the technical reading and written evaluations. Credential Issued Successful participants receive a durable, laminated plastic wallet certification card. Validity Period Valid for 3 years from the date of course completion. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the course start date to be eligible for a refund. Students who do not attend their scheduled class will not receive a refund.
For all cancellation requests, email info@canadianfallprotectioninstructor.com.
In the unlikely event that Canadian Fall Protection Instructor cancels a course, students will receive a full refund.
